Travel

Travel (within a 20 Mile radius of my home in Sholing, Southampton), will be included, free of charge, in the price of your booking. This includes

> Bridal/Prom Trials (booked in advance as part of your Package)
> Your ‘On the Day’ appointment.

If, for any reason you request, or require an additional trial, or request a trial regarding any other service I provide, travel costs will be made chargeable, regardless of the distance. Prices will be calculated using the RAC’s Fuel Cost Calculator, using the most up-to-date data available. Usually, this equates to approximately 45p a mile.

Booking With Me

I’ll accept requests for bookings through all my available platforms; this includes my Website, my Instagram (@Sophronia.MUA), my Facebook Page, or via my WhatsApp. When you send me a message/enquiry, I’ll aim to respond to you within 48 hours, and provide you with a clear response.

Your booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been paid; this usually is 20% of the total cost of your booking, and payable via PayPal or Bank Transfer. Once I have received this, you’ll receive confirmation of your booking via email. Deposits are non-refundable, and non-transferrable.

Payment in full is required 7 days in advance of your main appointment (for Proms and Bridal), and on the day for Occasional Make-Up bookings. Details of how to make payment will be available on your invoice, as well as all associated costs with your booking.

As an artist which values her professional integrity, and quality of work, I’d have to politely decline any Bridal, or Prom bookings where clients would prefer to not have a Trial. Trials are the most important aspect of your booking, and allows me to make sure you are happy with your look, and also streamline the process on your big day, avoiding unforeseen delays, or hitches.

Cancellation

If for any reason, you need to cancel your booking with me, let me know as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before your booking is scheduled.

If cancelling your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, I’ll do my best to ensure that you’re booked in for another day that works for you, however this is subject to diary availability, and a further deposit may be required. (Bridal Only).

For Prom/Occasional Make-Up bookings, I may charge any associated travel costs for your booking, in the event of cancellation.

In the event you decide to cancel your booking whilst traveling to/having arrived at the pre-agreed location, you’ll still be required to pay the full cost of your booking. In the event you have already paid in-full, no refund will be given.

Photography

In the course of working with you, I may wish to take photographs of you using a phone, or other similar device, or ask for a Third Party to take photographs of you/us. Please be aware that, these photographs may be used to help promote my business, and appear on my Website, Instagram, and Facebook page.

If you have any issues with me using photographs of you for these purposes, or object to photographs being taken of you, please let me know as soon as possible.

Allergies

I understand, and recognise that sometimes, you may have allergies to some ingredients used in Make-Up. If you are aware of any allergies, please let me know when making your booking, so that suitable alternative products can be discussed, and used.

If you aren’t aware of any allergies, but it later transpires that you’re allergic to a product/ingredient used in your look, I cannot be held liable for any distress/injury caused as a result of this.
