Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do I Really Need a Trial?
In short; Yes! You wouldn’t buy a pair of shoes without trying them on first, and a make-up look is no exception. Your trial allows me to understand you, and find out what you’re looking for from me, but also gives you the chance to give feedback about your likes, and dislikes, when it comes to your look.
Ultimately, the trial is all about ensuring that, on your big day, the appointment goes as smoothly as possible, and minimises the potential for overruns and issues. -
How Far Can You Travel?
I drive, so distance isn’t a massive issue at all. My travel is free, within a 20 mile radius of my home in Sholing, Southampton.
I do most of my bookings at a location best for you, and, where a trial is included, my travel is covered in the cost of your booking.
Where travel costs need to be covered, it’ll be done at 40p a Mile, each way, outside of the 20 mile radius, and be included in your final total. -
What if I need to Cancel My Booking?
If you need to cancel your booking, for any reason, please give me 24 hours notice, where possible.
In some cases, I appreciate this may not be possible, such as family/medical emergencies, so please try and let me know as soon as possible, if this is the case.
Please note however that booking fee’s are non-refundable. -
How Long are your Bookings?
In most cases, your ‘On the Day’ booking (the day of your event), shouldn’t take more than an hour per-person.
Bridal Trials do take longer, due to what they entail (as explained above), so please allow up to 3 hours for your trial, if you have one booked. -
Can I add Someone Else to My Booking on the Day?
In most cases, time permitting, I should be able to accommodate most requests, should any emergencies arise, or simply we have the time available.
Please be aware though that payment will be required up-front for this, on the day. -
When do I know that I've secured my Booking?
Bookings will always be provisional until a booking deposit has been taken. Once this has been taken, your booking date and time will be secured.
I’ll also send you a confirmation email, just so you know that it’s official! -
What are your prices and what is covered in my booking?
My prices vary depending on your occasion, so please just drop a message via the contact form to receive a personalised quote for your booking. These prices will include a breakdown of what I offer at the booking, as well as all the details of travel costs where required and any possible extra fees.

Will My Makeup Last All Day?
Absolutely! Through years of experience in the industry and my specialised training, i’ve learnt the best ways to ensure your makeup will last all day.
The secret is all in the method of layering products - such as primers, fine loose powders and setting sprays. The only two products you might need to buy to touch up throughout the day would be a pressed translucent powder and the lipstick I use on you. -
I have Make-Up I'd like you to use; Would you build it into my look?
Of course. Sometimes, only THAT shade of lipstick does it for you, or a specific bronzer.
All my equipment is cleaned before, and after use, so just let me know If there is something you’d like me to use!
